Before you decide to withhold your council tax payments, ensure you have thoroughly researched and fully understood the information provided on this site.

 

Do not simply enter your details, send off the Notices, and assume everything will work out—only to then expect others to handle any consequences.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the authors of these Notices.

My best advice is to take elements from different Notices, study them, and adapt them to make them your own.

Always send your Notices signed for orange postal sticker and keep the receipt your Notice has now been legally served and you can prove postage where they are unable to.

One of the councils lame excuse's to not respond has been the following:

a number of supplementary requests have been made using the standardized outline, Or You appear to be following misconceptions that have no relevance, or it appears you are following tactics suggested on internet sites and that they have no genuine liability; words to these effect.

 

I always add in my Notices: Let pre-empt you that if you believe this Notice to be a template or it appears to be following tactics suggested on internet sites and that they have no genuine liability Is Irrelevant. That being the case you will have no issues providing answers to questions and issuing the requested documents so that we can settle this matter?
